04 Flow
A flow is one chain of steps, run top to bottom. What it does after the last step is the macro's run mode:
- Once — the macro stops.
- Loop — the flow starts again from the first step, until you stop the macro.
- Parallel flows — several flows run at once, each starting over on its own.
- Stages — groups of flows run one group after another; each group keeps starting over until its stage hands on to the next.
You do not build that loop. Each mode, with a drawing, is on Flows and stages; the one below is a flow in Loop.
A step is one of two things.
A wait — teal — holds the chain until something is true: an icon on screen, a key you press, a bar at a level, a sound, or simply time passing. What a wait can watch for — a picture, a bar, a sound — is built once and reused, under targets.
An action — lavender — does something: press, type, move, click, show, play.
Counters carry a number through the chain, and branches and loops bend it.
